What jobs do teachers and midday supervisors do?

Three Nursery pupils are pictured outdoors in their winter coats, climbing across a pair of ropes. Holding onto the top with their hands and walking across the bottom.

Little Birds were fascinated to find out more information about the role of a teacher and a midday supervisor.

We enjoyed going on a tour around our school, observing different teachers in action as well as looking at the environment we are a part of at DPA.

We all had fun exploring the big playground equipment too!

A group of six Nursery pupils can be seen climbing on a wooden apparatus, outdoors on the academy grounds.

In our nursery, we had set up various activities to imitate a school and had a mini school in the outdoor role play area, which we helped to set up based off of what we had seen on our tour.

Little Birds have been very interested in writing for a purpose and observing our friends’ names on our name cards. We were developing our literacy skills!

Following the discussion about midday supervisors, we talked about our lunches and favourite food.

We carried out a focus task preparing a lunch box and packing lunch bags & boxes with real food.

We were great at exchanging conversations about healthy and unhealthy food.

Five Nursery pupils are pictured sat around a table together, about to eat some food.

We then practised our fine motor physical skills by cutting out food pictures to create a healthy lunch box collage.
