Our Visit to the Buddhist Temple

Some young pupils are pictured sat on the floor, alongside their teachers, inside a Buddhist Temple during a school trip.

This week Little Birds went on a walk in the local community to visit the Buddhist Temple. We found out information about who visits and what celebrations take place in this special place of worship.

We were fascinated by the beautiful decorations and Buddha Statue, who the monks worship too.

The Little Birds sang nursery rhymes to the monks.

The monks then played their instruments for us to hear and listen to.

On our final visit they explained about the importance of flowers and fruit as decorations, then they demonstrated flower arranging.
