On Friday 9th February , we held our first DPA Sweet Shop. This was a great opportunity for children to make and package sweet treats ( chocolate covered marshmallow and rocky road) to sell to raise money for entrepreneurs all over the world via the charity lendwithcare.

On this day , sweet treats were brought into the academy made at home by the children using ingredients provided and following a recipe .We invited parents this year to take part by making sweet treats to donate to support the charity.

The hall was packed with sweets shared by our wonderful DPA families and children.

The children certainly became confectioners and risk takers !! This was an amazing way to end the half term break!

We raised a whopping total of £590!

Thank you all for your support and generous donations!
