LAT Swimming Gala

Three girls are seen posing for a photo together in front of a Dartford Primary Academy banner with the school motto printed on it.

On Tuesday 22nd November, four excited swimmers set off to Sir Joseph Williamson’s Mathematical School, in Rochester, for a district schools swim meet. This was the first time in four years that this event has taken place.

With an element of nervousness and excitement, the children took to the water with ease. They swam in three events; two individual events and a freestyle relay. After a couple of strong swims, we then took on some very capable club swimmers who flew through the water like speed boats. The children enjoyed themselves and excelled at representing the school, using all their learner profile attributes especially risk taking. We are very proud of them.
