On Friday 1st July, eight children went to Bexley Cricket Club to take part in a cricket festival. They enjoyed four games of cricket as well as some quality coaching tips from some ex-England international cricket players.

More excitement came when the children realised how famous these legends of the game were. They soon dropped everything and ran to get as many autographs as they could.
Once we got back to the cricket, the children enjoyed winning two games. Their fielding was a particular highlight, with a few boundary ropes being broken by some quality batting. What a fantastic opportunity this was for our children and I was so proud of how they conducted themselves throughout the day.
