Reporting to Parents

Reporting to Parents

At Dartford Primary Academy, we closely track the progress and attainment of all pupils to ensure all make progress. Assessment takes many forms including looking at the work completed in lessons, completing assessments and discussing with pupils how confident they feel about the different areas of learning.

We also provide parents with the opportunity to formally talk to teachers regarding their child’s progress and attainment twice a year.  These meetings usually take place in October and February.

Parents also receive a formal annual report in July, which notes pupil’s attainment, progress, targets and attitude to learning.
