As we begin to transition into Year One, we will start to join the rest of the school for morning break.
We will also begin to enter the school from the playground door and walk around to our classes.
The last day of term is Friday 24th May. We finish at normal time.
Out in All Weathers!!
Although the weather is getting warmer, please remember to send your child in with a raincoat everyday, as we have lots of fun in our outside learning environment, whatever the weather!!!
PE Kits – Please remember to send in a PE kit for your child. This will be kept in school and then sent home at the end of each term for washing!
Their PE kit should consist of a coloured top to match their House, black shorts, black jogging bottoms and plimsolls. Please ensure that all of their kit is labelled.
P.E is now on a Wednesday.
Please remember to label all of your child’s belongings including jumpers and coats.
Please send your child in with their book bag that was provided with the school logo on it everyday. This is so we can deliver any messages or letters and the children can bring home their work to show you.
Reading books are changed on Friday each week.
Yellow Homework books will be changed on a Friday.
Pupils are given many high quality opportunities to develop their curiosity and creativity. They are encouraged to use their imagination, for example when thinking of ways to praise a friend, and are taught to respect the feelings and viewpoints of others.
Pupils are engaged and motivated by the way teachers present and teach the well-planned curriculum. This not only ensures that good learning takes place but makes a strong contribution to pupils’ spiritual, moral, social and cultural development.
Teaching assistants make a strong contribution to the good learning taking place, especially when pupils with special educational needs are taught in small groups outside the classroom. They work in very close partnership with teachers and bring an additional range of helpful skills and experiences into the classrooms.
